About Theraveda

Care that begins with understanding.

Theraveda brings naturopathy, therapeutic yoga and evidence-informed lifestyle and clinical thinking together—while keeping care personal, thoughtful and doctor-led.

Our Story

Theraveda was founded on a simple belief: lasting health requires understanding the whole person, not just managing symptoms.

By combining naturopathy, therapeutic yoga, lifestyle medicine, movement therapy and evidence-informed clinical care, we help people address the factors influencing their health, function and wellbeing.

Our approach is personal, practical and focused on sustainable change.

How we think about health

The whole picture, made practical.

The Five Elements Lens on our homepage is a reflective language for discussing patterns across these areas. It is not used as a medical diagnosis.

01

Physical health

Symptoms, health history and the practical realities of everyday wellbeing.

02

Movement

Mobility, strength, pain, posture and confidence in how the body moves.

03

Sleep

Sleep quality, recovery and the rhythms that help the body restore.

04

Stress & nervous system

How pressure, rest and emotional patterns interact with physical health.

05

Nutrition & metabolism

Food, energy, glucose, weight and habits that can be sustained.

06

Lifestyle & environment

Routines, work, relationships and surroundings that shape daily health.

Clinical collaboration

Connected care when specialist input matters.

Dr. Ashwini’s work also connects with Vaayu Chest & Sleep Specialists, an outpatient respiratory and sleep centre in Bengaluru.

Where respiratory or sleep concerns need specialist assessment, this relationship can support more coordinated conversations around breathing, sleep, rehabilitation and lifestyle. Theraveda’s supportive care does not replace diagnosis, prescribed treatment or follow-up with an appropriate medical specialist.
